retainers of the resistance

Posted by adiamondinsunlight on July 12, 2008

When I awoke this morning, I noticed that our opposition-friendly retainer cases were having a hoot of a time together on the counter:

Maybe they’re celebrating the fact that Lebanon finally has a government.

Maybe they’re cheering President Sleiman’s excellent choice of Ziyad Baroud for Interior Minister.

Maybe they’re laughing in anticipation of the thousand-and-one press conferences Talal Arslan will hold as Minister of Youth and Sports.

Maybe they’re remembering the war that began two years ago today.

H and I are doing all these things – but who knows what lurks in the hearts of those little plastic cases … !

Mine is red! Aren’t they romantic, these retainers?

  2. Red – excellent. You can either be the red of March 14, or the red of the Communists/Arab nationalists. Who knew those plastic containers could be so much fun 🙂 ?
